Today we have a prime example of why you shouldn’t waste your money on a Bugatti Veyron. Forking out at least $1.4 million for the Veyron is just rediculous. Yes, it is fast, but come on you could buy a Ferrari 458 Italia, A Nissan GTR, and only be out about a third of what you would pay for the Bugatti. It is cool, but not that cool. Badass Guy Escapes Burning Car
During the 24 Hour Race at Nürburgring driver, Roger Green, managed to set his Lotus Exige on fire. Yea, it is never good to be driving a car that is on fire… He managed to get it to the side of the track away from other drivers and jumped out of the car. He luckily was not injured in the blaze. Check out the video, his escape is towards the end.

BMW M3 GTS
I am a fan of BMW’s. I think they make the best consumer level luxury performance cars hands down. So when I saw this new M3 GTS I had to post it. Consider this the track version of the M3 that is stripped down and has several track related features like improved brakes, suspension, exhaust, tires, spoiler and weight reduction. The entire car is improved drastically, except the color in my opinion. If bought one it would be white. Anyways here is a video of the thing in action. Pretty Sweet. Double-click for HD.

Vorsteiner GTRS3 widebody kit for BMW M3 E92
Usually I’m not a fan of these wide body kits on cars. Especially when they butcher already pretty sick cars like the e92 M3, or any Porsche. But when a company like Vorsteiner does it, you know its gonna be good. That being said, here is the new E92 M3 widebody kit from Vorsteiner. I’m still not completely sold on it, but I think its better than most. Here is the press release VIA Bimmerboost.
Vorsteiner has released a new body kit for the BMW M3 E92. The full product is called the GTRS3 M3 and it consists of several body modifications and aerodynamic pieces. Up front the bumper has been replaced with a complete carbon fibre unit with a modular replacement splitter, GTRS3 carbon fibre wide arch fenders and extended side skirts. A GTRS3 carbon fibre vented race bonnet is also available.
The back end consists of quarter panel fender arch extensions, a Vorsteiner chrome boot badge emblem, a wide arch rear bumper and an integrated carbon diffuser. A stainless steel quad exhaust system is available as an option. The twin 7-spoke V-308 concave forged mesh wheels can be ordered in 18 or 20-inch sizes. Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 performance tyres are specified.
Only 100 Vorsteiner GTRS3 M3 kits are to be sold through the company’s worldwide network.

The Best Way To Smuggle Drugs, Until You Get Caught … Rally Style
Yesterday in Spain, drug smugglers were caught in a fake Dakar Rally Truck. Apparently the truck was actually entered into the Dakar Rally and finished the damn thing. The plan was to have the truck finish the rally and have it shipped back to Spain from Chile/Argentina with the drugs in it. The truck was in transit back to Spain where it was detained by customs where they found a staggering amount of drugs. 814 kilos of cocaine, 15,000 ecstasy tablets, 4.5 kilos of hashish, two guns and approximately $64,000 in cash. I don’t know the total street value of it all, but it is damn big number. Pretty genius if you ask me, and damn fun.

How Do You Make an SL 65 Black Series Better? Call Brabus.
This is the Brabus Vanish. A tuned version of the already insane Mercedes SL 65 Black Series Coupe. The stock car already has a V12 pumping out 661 HP and 738lb-ft of torque, but this monster has upgraded turbos and exhaust that boost horsepower to 789HP and probably at least 800lb-ft of torque. Along with the revised engine mods the car has also been revamped on the outside. The newer larger turbos required a new hood that looks very similar to the ZR-1 Corvette. Anyways, I think that the car will be ridiculous. There is no reason to have a car with that kind of torque or horsepower. There is a battle between traction and power anywhere after 500 HP and here I dont think the extra power helps, especially off the line. But, we will just have to wait for a review to really see.

World’s Fastest Evo 8 – For about 3 seconds
AMS is at it again with their new EVO 8. They take thier heavily modified Evo 8 to the Texas Mile and try to go as fast as the little 4 banger will go. Don’t be shocked though because this little 4 banger probably has upwards of 800HP. It goes 228 MPH in 1 mile. See if your four banger can do 120 MPH in a mile, doubt it.
